HISTORY

HISTORY AND LEADERSHIP

The Legacy Factory, LLC, is a small US-based company that for more than two decades has been helping  business and professional women with an unfulfilled dream of doing something humanitarian for the world plan and organize their projects. This year, owner Carol Liege felt called to take on a world peace campaign, an idea that was solidified by attending the virtual World Peace Day Awards event of 2023 hosted by Ladies of All Nations International (LOANI), an organization of women leaders doing humanitarian projects in 157 countries.  She was invited by her longtime friend and colleague Robbie Motter, Founder and CEO of the Global Society for Female Entrepreneurs (GSFE), and subsequently relocated to California to work with Dr. Motter and the Founder and CEO of LOANI, Dr. Caroline Makaka, on the campaign.

Founding organization GSFE is preparing to launch a Women for World Peace book by 100 of its members on July 7 (https://gsfeus.com) and LOANI is hosting a World Peace Summit in Merida, Mexico September 18-23. Dr. Makaka will announce the formal media kickoff of the campaign at the Summit on World Peace Day, September 21, 2024.(https://worldpeaceloanimexico.drbglobal.net)

The Legacy Factory has been building a Virtual Team of experts in publishing and communications as well as an Advisory Board of international campaign and world peace experts.  In May, it will reach out to more than 100 different women's organizations, associations, and companies with invitations to join the Women for World Peace Coalition.  Also in May, it will launch a new website for women, https://womenforworldpeace.com, now under development. In August, The Legacy Factory will publish five short "how to" books on Amazon, covering Inner Peace, Family Peace, Community Peace, National Peace, and World Peace actions women can take depending on their interests, resources, skills, circumstances, and season of life. Carol has personally spent several months researching, interviewing experts, and using AI to identify a myriad of things any woman can potentially.

Most materials and campaign templates will be available on this website for all organizations that

join the Coalition by June, 2024.

FOUNDING ORGANIZATIONS

THE LEGACY FACTORY, LLC

The Legacy Factory LLC was founded by Carol Liege in 2013 to help successful business and professional women with an unfulfilled dream make the dream come true and become their legacy. It provides research, planning, and organizational services needed to create and implement projects with full credit to the client who brought the vision and motivation, but not the plan or strategy to the project.  Carol has been developing projects large and small for decades, and has more than 30 years' experience creating coalitions and public-influencing campaigns in Boston and Washington, D.C. In the fall of 2023, Carol stopped taking on clients and started planning the Women for World Peace public-influencing campaign after attending a virtual peace awards event hosted by LOANI on World Peace Day 2023, invited by Robbie Motter and GSFE (see below). She has subsequently relocated from Minnesota to California to work with both groups on planning this global campaign.

GLOBAL SOCIETY FOR FEMALE ENTREPRENEURS (GSFE)

GSFE was founded in 2017 by Robbie Motter after the National Association for Female Executives (NAFE), where she'd been in charge of women's business networks in cities throughout the US for more than 30 years, closed down its networks. The mission of GSFE is "To empower, inspire, and connect women so they become successful entrepreneurs and enjoy fulfilling, productive, and abundant lives." It now has 14 local networks throughout Southern California and others in Canada, Europe, Asia and Africa. GSFE members attend monthly speaker meetings in person or on Zoom, provide help and support to one another "like family," and can take advantage of myriad opportunities Robbie continuously finds for them: book deals, inclusion in business anthologies, awards, recognition, travel to local, national, and international events, and social opportunities like group cruises.
