For 40 years, Pathways to Peace has been asking people to pause at noon in their own timezones to silently envision world peace and what they can do to further it in the year to come. Let's all join them this year.

Pathways To Peace first celebrated World Peace Day in San Francisco 40 Years Ago.
It was made an official annual event on September 21 each year by vote of the United Nations in 1981. Today thousands of governments, organizations, and individuals observe it with events and a moment of peaceful silence at
noon in their own time zone.
